A club for anyone with talent and nowhere to play — singers and instrumentalists alike. You pick a song, rehearse it with the band at a closed rehearsal, and perform it in front of the room. Membership is free and anyone can come and watch.
Five steps to standing on stage
Join the club. It's free and doesn't commit you to anything.
Before the evening you'll get an invitation. Sign up for one to three songs from the songbook — to sing, to play, or both — by 12:00 noon the day before.
Come to the closed rehearsal from 7 to 8 PM. The club is closed — no strangers around.
Play your song with the band in front of a full room.
You also come to evenings when you're not performing. Between the songs, everyone sings together.
This is not a jam session
At a jam, you play with whoever shows up. At Band Club, you play your song with a band that actually knows it, after a rehearsal, in front of a full room.
The band's got your back. Even if you mess up, it still sounds good.
What scares most people is being embarrassing. This whole thing is built to fix that.
- Behind you plays a professional rhythm section — guitar, bass, and drums who know what they're doing.
- The band always holds down the foundation. You're joining people who know the song.
- If no singer signs up for your song, someone from the band or the club will sing it.
- You choose the key yourself. If you're not sure, the bandleader will help.
- The bandleader is the safety net. If a song goes off the rails, they stop it and start it again.
- No auditions. Nobody tests you, and nobody kicks you out.
You're joining a crew, not a course
Come whenever you like — to play, to sing, or just to listen.
You'll be around people who love the same thing you do — and after ten, it picks up again at the bar.
You get access to the whole songbook, not just the forty songs played on stage.
You can suggest a song that's missing from the songbook. Whether and when the band learns it is something we'll agree on.

Lyrics and chords are available in the app once you sign in. As a member, you get access to the entire songbook, not just what's played on stage.
The band speaks English and half the songbook is in English. But hosting is in Czech — just so you know what you're getting into.
Dates
Band Club runs roughly once a month on a Tuesday. Anyone can drop in — entry is free and you don't need to sign up.

You don't have to be a member. Just show up.
The evenings are open to everyone. Nothing to fill in, nothing to pay, nobody you need to know.
Entry is free and you don't need to sign up in advance — just come.
Bring as many friends as you like. We don't cap the number.
If there's a slot left in the programme, tell the bandleader and you can play too — member or not.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I come if I'm not a member?
You can, and we'd love to see you. The evenings are open, entry is free and there's no need to sign up. Bring whoever you like — we don't cap the number of guests. And if there's a slot left in the programme, tell the bandleader and you can play even without a membership.
I don't know much. Can I even join?
You can. There's no audition, and every song lists its difficulty — for vocals and for each instrument separately. Your bandleader will help you pick something you can handle, and you'll run through it at a closed rehearsal before the audience arrives.
I don't have an instrument. Is that a problem?
No, drums and keys stay in the club. Bring your own guitar or bass if you plan to play them — you're used to your own instrument and it'll sound better. Singers just need to show up.
Can I just sing?
Sure. Fewer singers sign up than instrumentalists, so there's always room.

What if I get sick?
You cancel your sign-up yourself in the app. Please do it as soon as you can, at the latest by the sign-up deadline (12:00 noon the day before the evening) — the band prepares according to the sign-ups. If something serious comes up, just message us.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Club membership is free. If you like, you can support the band with a voluntary contribution. The only thing that costs money is having the band learn a song on request that isn't in the songbook — we'll agree on the price.
Who will see me in the video?
The whole evening is filmed, and by stepping on stage you agree to that. We only post the recording on the club's social media with your consent — it's a checkbox when you pick your song, and you can untick it or withdraw your consent by email at any time. You can have a recording of your own performance made; we'll agree on the terms.
Do I have to attend every evening?
You don't have to. Before every evening you'll get an invitation and sign up only when you feel like it. But most people show up even when they're not playing — for the crew.
