The band on stage at JammClub in Prague 6
Jamm Band Club

You can play, you just don't have anyone to play with. We've got the band. You pick the song.

A members' club for adults who can play but have nowhere to do it. Pick a song, run through it with the band at a closed rehearsal, then play it in front of a full room. Your first performance is free.

How it works

Five steps to standing on stage

Pick a song from the songbook — forty tracks, half in Czech, half in English.

Sign up for an evening. Registration opens fourteen days in advance, at a fixed time.

Come to the closed rehearsal at 6:45 PM. The club is closed — no strangers around.

Play your song with the band in front of a full room — and leave with a video.

You also come to evenings when you're not performing. Entry is included in your membership.

The room at JammClub
Why this isn't a jam session

This is not a jam session

At a jam, you play with whoever shows up. At Band Club, you play your song with a band that actually knows it, after a rehearsal, in front of a full room — and you leave with a video.

You won't look like a fool

The band's got your back. Even if you mess up, it still sounds good.

Most people aren't scared of the price — they're scared of being embarrassing. This whole thing is built to fix that.

  • Behind you plays a professional rhythm section — guitar, bass, and drums who know what they're doing.
  • There are never two amateurs in the rhythm section at once. A pro always holds down the foundation.
  • No more than two members per song, so there's always room for you.
  • You'll go over the song with the bandleader beforehand — they'll even help you find the right key.
  • There's a closed rehearsal before the evening. You run through it once before the guests arrive.
  • No auditions. Nobody tests you, and nobody kicks you out.
It's a club, not a course

You're buying a crew, not five tickets

Membership covers every evening of the semester, not just the ones you perform at.

You'll be around people who love the same thing you do — and after ten, it picks up again at the bar.

You get access to the whole songbook, not just the forty songs played on stage.

You can suggest a song for the repertoire. Once it's rehearsed, you get first pick to play it.

Songbook

What you can play with us

These are the songs the band has rehearsed and can play. Pick one from the list.

The songbook is almost ready — forty songs, half in Czech and half in English, will be published by the end of August.

The band speaks English and half the songbook is in English. But hosting is in Czech — just so you know what you're getting into.

How Much It Costs

Payment covers the whole semester

Prices are final, nothing extra is added. Pay by QR code, no payment gateway needed.

Autumn semester 2026 — CZK 2,500

Four performances and entry to all five evenings. That's CZK 625 per performance with a professional band, sound engineer, rehearsal, and video.

Spring semester 2027 — CZK 5,000

Eight performances and entry to every evening of the semester. Exactly double the autumn semester, no extra calculations.

When you want to play more

An extra performance costs CZK 500 and is offered from the slots left over after registration closes. Non-members can play again for CZK 790 per evening.

Your first performance is free

Sign up, come along, play — and only then decide if it's for you. You pay nothing upfront and commit to nothing.

Valid once per person, permanently — this isn't a limited-time offer. After your evening, you have seven days to decide.

How many of us

We take twenty people

Any more wouldn't fit into a semester without breaking our promise of four performances. This isn't manufactured scarcity — it's simply how many slots the stage actually has.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

I don't know much. Can I even join?

Sure you can. There's no audition, and every song lists its difficulty — separately for vocals and each instrument. The bandleader will help you pick something you can handle, and you'll run through it at a closed rehearsal before the audience arrives.

I don't have an instrument. Is that a problem?

Not for drums or keyboards — those are provided at the club. Bring your own guitar or bass if you want to play them — you're used to your instrument and it'll sound better. Singers just need to show up.

Can I just sing?

Of course. Fewer singers sign up than instrumentalists, so there's plenty of room.

What if I get sick?

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the evening, the performance goes back into your balance and you can play it another time. After that, it's too late — the bandleader rehearses based on the setlist, and the slot can't reliably be filled. If something serious comes up, just message us and we'll work it out.

Do you refund payments?

Membership fees aren't refundable, but unused performances don't expire — they carry over to the next semester. If we cancel an evening, the performance is returned to you and doesn't count against your semester limit.

Who will see me in the video?

The whole evening is filmed, and you'll always get the clip of your performance — it's yours to do with as you like. We can only publish it on our channels if you give us separate consent. That consent is voluntary, isn't a condition of membership, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Do I have to attend every evening?

You don't have to. Membership is your ticket to every evening of the semester, not an attendance sheet. But most people show up even when they're not performing — for the crowd.

Application

Come give it a try

Fill out the application and we'll get back to you. If you'd like to try a trial performance first, choose the first option — it's completely free.

The trial performance is free and doesn't commit you to anything. You decide only after you've played.

What I play or sing

Cancelling more than 48 hours before the evening returns the performance to your balance. After that, it's forfeited, just like a no-show without notice. If we cancel the evening, the performance is returned and doesn't count toward your limit.

Can you play, but don't have anyone to play with?

Your first performance is free. Come try it out and decide afterwards.
