What your membership gets you

Membership is paid for the whole semester in advance. The Fall 2026 semester costs 2,500 CZK and includes four performances. The Spring 2027 semester costs 5,000 CZK and includes eight performances. In both cases, you get access to every evening of the semester, even the ones you're not performing at.

We guarantee the number of performances per semester, not a specific evening or a specific song. Four performances are guaranteed — which evening and what you'll play is arranged along the way, and the sooner you sign up, the bigger the selection.

Unused performances don't expire. They carry over to the next semester.

Signing up for an evening

The bandleader announces the evening's program a month in advance. Sign-up opens fourteen days before the evening at a fixed time, and everyone gets an equal chance.

In the first round, each member can claim one song. A second or additional song can only be claimed after 48 hours, once everyone has had a chance to pick their own.

Each song is played once per evening. A song can feature at most two members, and there are never two amateurs in the rhythm section at the same time — bass and drums have to hold it together, or the song falls apart.

Sign-up closes 48 hours before the evening. The bandleader then confirms the setlist, and the band rehearses accordingly.

That deadline applies to signing up in advance. If a slot is left in the programme on the night, someone who just dropped in can play too — just talk to the bandleader there.

Cancellations and no-shows

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the evening, your performance is returned to your balance and the spot is offered to others.

If you cancel later than that, the performance is forfeited. The bandleader is already rehearsing according to the setlist, and the spot can't be reliably filled.

If you don't show up without notice, the performance counts as used. There's no fine or expulsion for this, but on your third no-show in a semester, you lose priority booking for one evening.

If we cancel the evening, the performance is returned to everyone signed up and doesn't count toward the semester limit.

Performances forfeited due to a late cancellation or a no-show don't carry over to the next semester.

We can make exceptions after the deadline for illness or another serious reason. Just write to us and we'll work it out.

First performance free

Every new prospective member can come play once for free and decide afterward. This offer is permanent, not a limited-time promotion.

It applies once per person — not once per semester. We verify this using your email and phone number.

After your evening, you have seven days to decide. If you don't sign up within that time, you'll stay in our contacts, but you won't get another trial performance.

How many trial performances we allow on a given evening depends on how many open spots the club has available.

Recording and what happens with the video

The whole evening is filmed and no one can be cut out of it. By taking part in the evening you therefore agree that it may be recorded — no form, no checkbox, it follows from stepping on stage.

Use of the recording on the club's social media is separate: a single checkbox when you pick your song, ticked by default. It's not a membership requirement, and you can untick it or withdraw it by email at any time.

You'll get the clip of your performance no matter what — it's yours to do with as you please. If you untick the box, we simply won't share it anywhere.

The full evening's edit is ready within 24 hours, individual clips within seven days.

Guests and a full house

Anyone can come and watch, membership or not. Entry to the evening is free and there's no need to sign up in advance.

You're welcome to bring guests, and there's no entry fee. We don't cap the number, but let us know in advance how many you're bringing so we can hold seats for you.

The venue holds fifty to seventy people. As we approach capacity, we confirm additional guests on a case-by-case basis.

Money

Payment is made by bank transfer using the QR code you'll receive after submitting your application, and again by email. No payment gateway, no stored card details.

Prices are final. The club isn't VAT-registered, so nothing extra gets added on.

Paid membership isn't refundable. Unused performances, however, carry over to the next semester, so you won't lose out on them.

Without paid membership, you can't sign up for an evening — an unpaid application doesn't hold your spot.

How we treat each other

The club's ethos is simple: we cheer for courage, not perfection. No one auditions anyone here, and no one laughs at someone who dared to try.

The bandleader is your safety net. If a song starts going off the rails, they'll stop it and start it again.

If fewer than eight people sign up five days before the evening, it goes ahead in a more intimate format. We don't cancel it.
